Marie is a lifesaver! After an extremely stressful couple of weeks, I realized that I had less than 10 hrs and my wedding dress no longer fit properly. After many unsuccessful attempts with other tailors who would not see me because of how soon my wedding was, I found Marie who was willing to see me that day and had my dress back to me in under a week! I cannot recommend her enough. She is lovely and her work is beautiful. My family will be using her exclusively from now on but I will be sure to give her plenty of notice in the future as this was a one time wedding emergency.

My wedding dress needed to be altered quickly. I had about two weeks before my wedding in Chicago when I came across Fashion by Marie Laure though a Google Search. I called and asked can I be seen that morning and she said yes. She understood everything that needed to be altered with the dress and the dres was ready in less than a week. If you are looking for alterations, please call her. She is pleasant and has a wonderful loving spirit and she can definitely get the job done whether you’re on a tight budget or not. Just picked up my dress and couldn’t wait to post this review do I’ sitting in my car so eager to share. This woman is truly magical. I showed up within one week to go before my wedding, needing last second alterations due to losing weight. Marie assured me the second I stepped into her studio everything was going to be okay. She had my dress completed in 4 days. Not only completed, she altered the dress to fit me better that I ever envisioned. I wish that I could give her 100/5 star review. Do not think twice about coming to her, she’s amazing. I’ll be coming back for all future services.

It took me forever to get my wedding dress altered because I’ve heard so many horror stories and wanted to find the best seamstress in town. I choose to go with Marie since she had so many wonderful reviews and I definitely made the right choice. She did an amazing job on my dress and if fits me like a glove.
